Two British talent shows have been warring yet again over the singer performing on their shows. Apparently, Simon Cowell booked Beyonce to perform on the Dec 16th finale of the "X-Factor" but "Strictly Come Dancing" went and booked the singer to perform on their show in November, and X-Factor bosses are said to be fuming.

"Beyonce is set to shake her bootie and perform with the stars on Strictly Come Dancing. The hit show will get a bootylicious taste of the star’s top talent at the end of November. But the signing has reportedly put Simon Cowell’s nose out of joint, after the music mogul signed her to perform two songs for the final X Factor show on 16 December.

In what appears to be a big-name bidding war, the BBC said: “As far as we are concerned, we are the number one show on Saturday nights and we are delighted to get Beyonce on. If The X Factor wants her, they will have to wait until after us. She has signed up and we have also got Take That confirmed.”

An X Factor insider retorted: “We aren’t happy Beyonce is doing Strictly, but she is just one of a number of huge names we’re getting on the show. We’ve also got Mariah Carey and Britney Spears so we feel we’ve got the best line-up”.

Meanwhile, Beyonce will be equally happy about doing both shows: she’s got a new album, ‘I Am…Sasha Fierce’, to promote. The album will be released on 17th November, with the first single from the collection, ‘If I Were a Boy’, coming out the week before". Source.

Jennifer Hudson’s sister Julia Hudson made an emotional plea today for the return of her son who has been missing since yesterday afternoon when Hudson’s mother and brother were found shot to death in their home.

Questions had been raised concerning Julia’s whereabouts when it appeared that someone logged into her Myspace page to accept friend requests this morning:

The older sister of actress Jennifer Hudson pleaded for the return of her missing son at the family’s church on the South Side of Chicago.

Julia Hudson made the public plea Saturday for her 7-year-old son, Julian King, who was reported missing Friday from the family’s home. The same day, Hudson’s mother and brother were found shot to death in the home.

Julia Hudson said Jennifer Hudson flew to Chicago after learning the news and the sisters have “been together since.”

The 31-year-old woman spoke from the church podium with the boy’s father, Greg King, at her side. She said her son “doesn’t deserve this.”

“All I ask, I don’t care who you are, just let my baby go. Please. I just want my son,” the actress’ sister, Julia Hudson, said in a tearful plea for the safe return of her son at Pleasant Gift Missionary Baptist Church, the family’s church.

Asked if anyone would want to take the boy, she said, “I don’t know. I don’t care. I just want him back.”

Julian’s father, Greg King, spoke outside the church briefly. “I just want my son,” King said. “He needs to come home.”

Julia Hudson said her son was very close to his grandmother, who took care of him when Hudson went to work.

Speaking to the public, Hudson said, “I want you to keep your eyes and your ears open.”

Hudson said the deaths of her mother and brother has left her close-knit family “in a state of shock.”

“It hurts,” she said. “I don’t know what else to do besides pray.”

Arrow points to a bullet hole in the front door of the home owned by Jennifer Hudson’s mother Darnell Donerson who was found shot to death yesterday. Police say the assailant fired through the door hitting Hudson’s brother Jason Hudson, 29 (inset). Donerson was shot when she entered the living room after hearing the shot. Police found Jason’s body in a bedroom. An autopsy completed today showed defensive wounds on his body. Hudson’s brother-in-law William Balfour, 27, is in police custody but he has not been charged in the murders. Jennifer Hudson visited the morgue overnight with family members to identify her mother and her brother. Hudson’s 7-year-old nephew Julian King is still missing. The body of Jennifer Hudson’s mother Darnell Donerson was found by Jennifer Hudson’s sister Julia around 2:45 PM yesterday. Julia called 911 to report the shooting. She also reported her 7-year-old son missing. Police arriving on the scene found Hudson’s brother Jason shot to death in a bedroom. An Amber Alert issued for little Julian King is still in effect. The suspect in the slayings of actress Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother is now in custody.

Police arrested William Balfour, 27, last night in Chicago. Balfour’s mother, Michelle, said her son had been married to Hudson’s sister, Julia, 29, for several years, but they were separated. She also said Donerson had ordered him to move out of the family’s home last winter.

A relative found the body of Darnell Donerson, 57, lying on her living room floor around 2:45 PM yesterday. Police arriving on the scene found the body of Jason Hudson, 27, in a bedroom of the home he shared with his mother. Both victims had been shot multiple times. The front door was unlocked.

Police made several arrests last night but no one has been charged in the case according to law enforcement sources who spoke to the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times. Police spokeswoman Monique Bond said investigators were talking to “a number of people in custody” but she declined to elaborate.

The whereabouts of Julia Hudson’s 7-year-old son, Julian King, is still unknown. An Amber Alert was issued for Julian yesterday. The boy was initially thought to be Balfour’s son, but Balfour was incarcerated during the time Julian was conceived.

Balfour was convicted and sentenced to 7 years in prison for attempted murder and car jacking in 1999. He was paroled in 2006. Julian was born in 2001.

Published reports indicated William may have stolen Julia’s car in recent weeks and was barred from the family home as a result. In a caption posted under a photo of her brother Jason, Julia noted that Jason was picking her up from her job where she worked as a school bus driver because, “William bitch ass sold my car.”

Paul Ciliano, a former Chicago police officer and CBS News consultant, said the Englewood neighborhood where the crimes were committed is “probably the toughest neighborhood in the city of Chicago.

“This is notoriously violent area, the most shootings and car hijackings and tough-and-rumble place on the South Side of Chicago,” he told Early Show anchor Priya David.

Members at the church where the tight-knit family worshiped said Jennifer Hudson offered to move her mother out of the area, but Donnerson refused to leave.

“These are such difficult times,” said the family’s pastor, Rev. Willie R. Davis, of the Progressive Baptist Church. “To lose a mother and a brother at one time — and then to lose them under these circumstances would be difficult for anyone. We just have to wait until the opportunity permits that we can sit down with them and have prayer. Jennifer is a very strong lady. She is deep-rooted in her faith. We know that through it all, she will get through.”

CBS News correspondent Cynthia Bowers reports that Hudson returned to Chicago last night after news of the deaths. But her sister Julia was still accepting friend requests on her Myspace page as recently as this morning. She is said to be “numb”.

Hudson recently announced her engagement to David Otunga, best known for his stint on VH1’s reality show “I Love New York.”

The star is asking for privacy in her time of grief. Her Web site jenniferhudsononline.com is already filled with condolence notes.

According to Illinois Dept. of Corrections, William Balfour, 27, was out on probation after serving 7 years in prison for attempted murder and car jacking. Jennifer’s sister Julia, who is a Chicago bus driver, saw the perfect thug in William with whom she had 7-year-old Julian. Police are looking for William and his son. Julia’s employer tells TMZ.com she worked her shift today but hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

Actress/singer Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother found found shot to death in their Chicago home today:

The mother of Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson was reportedly found dead in a South Side home.

Two adults were found fatally shot at a home at 70th Street and Yale Avenue at 3 p.m. Friday, authorities said. Willie Davis, the pastor of the Hudson family’s church, Progressive Baptist, confirmed that 57-year-old Darnell Hudson Donnerson was one of the victims.

The other victim was a man, the Chicago Fire Department said.

Chicago police are now searching for a man and boy, believed to be driving on the North Side. The man is known as “William,” has braids in his hair, and is driving a 1994 Chevy, according to police scanner traffic. The 7-year-old, known as Julian, is wearing a tan jersey with the number 5 on it, and tan slacks.

The shooting is believed to be domestic.

The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office has been notified of the deaths of two people from a home at the address, but additional information is unavailable.

Jennifer Hudson became famous after appearing on “American Idol” in 2004. She went on to win an Oscar for her performance in the film “Dreamgirls.” (Source)

ESSENCE.COM: There’s been much hearsay about Diddy’s intentions of making you the lead of Danity Kane as well as offering you a solo record deal. Is that true?

RICHARD: It’s so interesting how the media chooses to interpret or report things. I have never said that I was pursuing a solo deal. I told someone that I have waited so long for my dream, and singing is my dream and has been for so long. I have done nothing on the side as far as solo projects; I’m not sidestepping. I have totally been supportive of the group—that’s my priority. We had shows where Aubrey didn’t show up and we had her back and no one wrote about it or said anything. Some of the other girls have pursued their interests and I have sat back and supported them in their individual pursuits. It truly hurts my feelings because I work so hard and I’ve been so honest from the beginning. I can’t control it if someone says, `I respect your artistry and I’d like to work with you.’ What’s wrong with that? Instead of getting support there is nothing but negativity. Again, my priority has always been Danity Kane. I’ve never missed a show or meeting so it’s just interesting how people perceive things. I can only put it in God’s hands.

After months of speculation, it has been confirmed that Pop superstar Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie are to divorce, according to Madonna's spokeswoman. Check out the report via Billboard below:

A statement e-mailed to the Associated Press from spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg says the couple has agreed to divorce, and asks the media to respect their privacy.

The statement, co-signed by Ritchie's representative, says the couple had not agreed to a settlement.

Madonna and Ritchie married in December 2000 at a Scottish castle. The couple have two children: Rocco, 8, and David Banda, 3, who was adopted from Malawi in 2006. Madonna also has a 12-year-old daughter, Lourdes, from her relationship with personal trainer Carlos Leon.

The couple are reportedly worth some $525 million, the bulk of that belonging to Madonna. Ritchie has an estimated $35 million fortune. They own homes in London, Los Angeles and New York, and a 1,200-acre retreat in Wiltshire, England.

Three years after he picked them to the girl pop group he'd been assembling, Diddy gave Aubrey O'Day and D. Woods the boot during Tuesday night's live season-three finale of "Making the Band 4," leaving only Aundrea Fimbres, Shannon Bex and Dawn Richard to carry on as Danity Kane.

"Puff did not like [O'Day's] image ... where her image was going for the group," she told UsMagazine.com. "It wasn't a personal thing," she added, explaining that O'Day's recent topless appearance on the cover of Complex magazine wasn't sending the right message to the group's fans.

"We had just did a signing with Dollhouse Teen, which is for 13-, 14-year-old young girls," Richard continued. "So, we can't do that one day and then the next day do an obnoxious cover. ... [Diddy] wants the fans, and he says he can't do that if we can continue to go in the direction that we were going."

While Diddy said he would work with Woods in the future, O'Day's time is over. But the group will continue, Richard said.

"Well, Puff told me specifically that Aubrey is no longer in Danity Kane, and Danity Kane will move forward without her," she explained, adding that Diddy hasn't mentioned anything about replacing the two singers. The $20 million newly renovated space was packed wall-to-wall with faithful fans who paid $150 each to see one of rap’s greatest perform live. DJ AM made his return to the stage spinning for Mr. Carter the entire show, alongside Jay’s 8-piece band, the Roc Boys.

The hip-hop superstar brought out a broad spectrum of celebrities including athletes, actresses, and musicians. Did Beyonce Steal From Both Of Her New Singles?

Fox News is reporting that Beyonce stole the hearty-female ballad ‘If I Were A boy’ from BC Jean, an up and coming 21-year-old pop artist. I posted BC’s version two weeks before Beyonce’s version impacted radio last week. But HOW Beyonce got the track is the real issue at hand…

"The single missed the Grammy deadline of September 30th, but it was ready to go at least 3 weeks ago. The answer: it was held up by endless legal wrangling since, in the long hallowed tradition of the music business, the young woman who wrote the melody and lyrics for “If I Were A Boy” had no idea Beyonce had even recorded her song until a stranger called with the news. By then, it was too late.

BC Jean is a hot, up-and-coming 21 year old female singer songwriter from San Diego. Those who’ve met her says she’s smart and “gorgeous.” But BC (her initials, legend has it, are for “beautiful child”) got a cold dose of reality this summer when it comes to the record business. According to sources, she and her manager/mother have been strong-armed by Beyonce’s people and others who saw gold in “If I Were A Boy” and didn’t care how they got it".

BC Jean (who co-wrote the song with Tony Gad) shopped it around after BC’s record deal fell through like he did with Fergie’s ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’. Beyonce is known to steal songs and getting bitten in the ass over it too.

In 2003, a $200 million lawsuit was filed against the former Destiny’s Child singer after a 32-year-old producer claimed Beyonce stole ‘Survivor’ from a commercial. In 2005, she was also sued over her song ‘Baby Boy’ when a Minneapolis singer/songwriter by the name of Jennifer Armour accused her of stealing the lyrics and musical hook from her song ‘Got a Little Bit of Love for You’ which she says made its way into Beyoncé’s hands when Armour shopped the track around in March 2003. And last year, Beyonce was sued for copyright infringement by British singer Des’ree stating how Beyonce didn’t get proper approval before altering a cover of her song ‘Kissing You’ into ‘Still in Love (Kissing You)’ or shooting a video for it. As a result, her re-release for B’Day was pulled from the shelves. And let’s not forget the time she appeared on TRL and claimed to have written Emotions when Carlson Daly called her out on it saying it was a Bee Gees cover.

Last year, Ne-yo also called out Beyonce for claiming sole credit for her smash ‘Irreplaceable’ when he actually co-wrote it. Beyonce’s known for snagging songwriting credit even just for changing two words and a full stop period. It doesn’t stop there either. Beyonce is now catching flack for stealing the ‘Single Ladies’ dance from the “MEXICAN BREAKFAST” chicks. Here’s the Mexican Breakfast video. The routine is uncannily very similar to Beyonce’s but they dont do the split Beyonce does. And the plot thickens, because now folks are saying she’s jacked Ciara’s idea of releasing a conceptual album. Today on TRL, Beyonce CONFIRMED that her new album ‘I Am’ album WILL infact be a double CD. One CD will be called ‘I Am Beyonce’ which is said to be more R&B, introverted, and sexy. The other cd will allegedly be honoured after her alter-ego and is titled ‘I Am Sasha’ which is said to feature upbeat dance tracks such as ‘Single Ladies’ and so forth.

The hour-long episode was dedicated to Beyonce. They also had a ‘Beyonce countdown’ where they played Beyonce’s 10 best videos, as well as premiered her two new singles "If I Were A Boy" and "Single Ladies". On TRL, this is where the singer confirmed that she’ll be releasing a DOUBLE DISC package of her latest forthcoming album "I Am". The standard version of the album will feature eleven songs - five pop songs and six urban songs. The deluxe edition version of the album will feature seventeen tracks, eight pop songs and nine uptempo club bangers. The double disc will characterize between Beyonce (pop) and her alter-ego Sasha (urban).

The singer plans to release her latest single, ‘If I Were a Boy’, in Spanish. She recorded the Spanish rendition this week and it is set to impact radio the following week. Reportedly, Beyonce will also re-release her new album ‘I Am’ in February 2009 (WOW! The original rendition of ‘I Am’ has yet to drop on Nov 18th and they’ve already got a date set for the re-release, hmmmm, I know Michelle Williams must be pissed right about now, lol). Her first week sales for ‘Unexpected’ will be posted and discussed later today.

Anyway, more about the re-release of ‘I Am’. Other songs on the album will be recorded in Spanish for the re-release, along with a collaboration with an unamed Latin singer (For B’Day, it was Shakira). Just like her last re-released album, ‘B’Day’, it will feature a video anthology where she’ll shoot and release a video for EVERY song from ‘I Am’.

The singer will embark on a world tour for ‘I Am’ where she is set to do 110 dates, internationally. Her next singles will be ‘Halo’ and ‘Ego’ which are set to become the second batch of singles released from the album.
