Two British talent shows have been warring yet again over the singer performing on their shows. Apparently, Simon Cowell booked Beyonce to perform on the Dec 16th finale of the "X-Factor" but "Strictly Come Dancing" went and booked the singer to perform on their show in November, and X-Factor bosses are said to be fuming.

"Beyonce is set to shake her bootie and perform with the stars on Strictly Come Dancing. The hit show will get a bootylicious taste of the star’s top talent at the end of November. But the signing has reportedly put Simon Cowell’s nose out of joint, after the music mogul signed her to perform two songs for the final X Factor show on 16 December.

In what appears to be a big-name bidding war, the BBC said: “As far as we are concerned, we are the number one show on Saturday nights and we are delighted to get Beyonce on. If The X Factor wants her, they will have to wait until after us. She has signed up and we have also got Take That confirmed.”

An X Factor insider retorted: “We aren’t happy Beyonce is doing Strictly, but she is just one of a number of huge names we’re getting on the show. We’ve also got Mariah Carey and Britney Spears so we feel we’ve got the best line-up”.

Meanwhile, Beyonce will be equally happy about doing both shows: she’s got a new album, ‘I Am…Sasha Fierce’, to promote. The album will be released on 17th November, with the first single from the collection, ‘If I Were a Boy’, coming out the week before". Source.

Jennifer Hudson Sister Begs For Her Son's Return

Jennifer Hudson’s sister Julia Hudson made an emotional plea today for the return of her son who has been missing since yesterday afternoon when Hudson’s mother and brother were found shot to death in their home.

Questions had been raised concerning Julia’s whereabouts when it appeared that someone logged into her Myspace page to accept friend requests this morning:


The older sister of actress Jennifer Hudson pleaded for the return of her missing son at the family’s church on the South Side of Chicago.

Julia Hudson made the public plea Saturday for her 7-year-old son, Julian King, who was reported missing Friday from the family’s home. The same day, Hudson’s mother and brother were found shot to death in the home.

Julia Hudson said Jennifer Hudson flew to Chicago after learning the news and the sisters have “been together since.”

The 31-year-old woman spoke from the church podium with the boy’s father, Greg King, at her side. She said her son “doesn’t deserve this.”

“All I ask, I don’t care who you are, just let my baby go. Please. I just want my son,” the actress’ sister, Julia Hudson, said in a tearful plea for the safe return of her son at Pleasant Gift Missionary Baptist Church, the family’s church.

Asked if anyone would want to take the boy, she said, “I don’t know. I don’t care. I just want him back.”

Julian’s father, Greg King, spoke outside the church briefly. “I just want my son,” King said. “He needs to come home.”

Julia Hudson said her son was very close to his grandmother, who took care of him when Hudson went to work.

Speaking to the public, Hudson said, “I want you to keep your eyes and your ears open.”

Hudson said the deaths of her mother and brother has left her close-knit family “in a state of shock.”

“It hurts,” she said. “I don’t know what else to do besides pray.”

Suspect Of Of Jennifer Hudson Family Shooting & Nephew Still Missing

Arrow points to a bullet hole in the front door of the home owned by Jennifer Hudson’s mother Darnell Donerson who was found shot to death yesterday. Police say the assailant fired through the door hitting Hudson’s brother Jason Hudson, 29 (inset). Donerson was shot when she entered the living room after hearing the shot. Police found Jason’s body in a bedroom. An autopsy completed today showed defensive wounds on his body. Hudson’s brother-in-law William Balfour, 27, is in police custody but he has not been charged in the murders. Jennifer Hudson visited the morgue overnight with family members to identify her mother and her brother. Hudson’s 7-year-old nephew Julian King is still missing. The FBI has been called in to help in the search for Julian. (Source)

The body of Jennifer Hudson’s mother Darnell Donerson was found by Jennifer Hudson’s sister Julia around 2:45 PM yesterday. Julia called 911 to report the shooting. She also reported her 7-year-old son missing. Police arriving on the scene found Hudson’s brother Jason shot to death in a bedroom. An Amber Alert issued for little Julian King is still in effect. Anyone who has seen a white Chevy Suburban with Illinois license plate X584859 is asked to call Chicago police immediately. (Source)


The suspect in the slayings of actress Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother is now in custody.

Police arrested William Balfour, 27, last night in Chicago. Balfour’s mother, Michelle, said her son had been married to Hudson’s sister, Julia, 29, for several years, but they were separated. She also said Donerson had ordered him to move out of the family’s home last winter.

A relative found the body of Darnell Donerson, 57, lying on her living room floor around 2:45 PM yesterday. Police arriving on the scene found the body of Jason Hudson, 27, in a bedroom of the home he shared with his mother. Both victims had been shot multiple times. The front door was unlocked.

Police made several arrests last night but no one has been charged in the case according to law enforcement sources who spoke to the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times. Police spokeswoman Monique Bond said investigators were talking to “a number of people in custody” but she declined to elaborate.

The whereabouts of Julia Hudson’s 7-year-old son, Julian King, is still unknown. An Amber Alert was issued for Julian yesterday. The boy was initially thought to be Balfour’s son, but Balfour was incarcerated during the time Julian was conceived.

Balfour was convicted and sentenced to 7 years in prison for attempted murder and car jacking in 1999. He was paroled in 2006. Julian was born in 2001.

Published reports indicated William may have stolen Julia’s car in recent weeks and was barred from the family home as a result. In a caption posted under a photo of her brother Jason, Julia noted that Jason was picking her up from her job where she worked as a school bus driver because, “William bitch ass sold my car.”

Paul Ciliano, a former Chicago police officer and CBS News consultant, said the Englewood neighborhood where the crimes were committed is “probably the toughest neighborhood in the city of Chicago.

“This is notoriously violent area, the most shootings and car hijackings and tough-and-rumble place on the South Side of Chicago,” he told Early Show anchor Priya David.

Members at the church where the tight-knit family worshiped said Jennifer Hudson offered to move her mother out of the area, but Donnerson refused to leave.

“These are such difficult times,” said the family’s pastor, Rev. Willie R. Davis, of the Progressive Baptist Church. “To lose a mother and a brother at one time — and then to lose them under these circumstances would be difficult for anyone. We just have to wait until the opportunity permits that we can sit down with them and have prayer. Jennifer is a very strong lady. She is deep-rooted in her faith. We know that through it all, she will get through.”

CBS News correspondent Cynthia Bowers reports that Hudson returned to Chicago last night after news of the deaths. But her sister Julia was still accepting friend requests on her Myspace page as recently as this morning. She is said to be “numb”.

Hudson recently announced her engagement to David Otunga, best known for his stint on VH1’s reality show “I Love New York.”

The star is asking for privacy in her time of grief. Her Web site jenniferhudsononline.com is already filled with condolence notes.

Police Looking For Jennifer Hudson Nephew & Sister Husband

According to Illinois Dept. of Corrections, William Balfour, 27, was out on probation after serving 7 years in prison for attempted murder and car jacking. Jennifer’s sister Julia, who is a Chicago bus driver, saw the perfect thug in William with whom she had 7-year-old Julian. Police are looking for William and his son. Julia’s employer tells TMZ.com she worked her shift today but hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

From TMZ.com: Police are looking for William Balfour (bottom left), who they claim could be with the missing 7-year-old. According to records, Balfour listed Hudson’s mother’s address as a place of residence within the last year. According to the Illinois Department of Corrections website, Balfour is currently on parole after serving jail time for attempted murder.

Actress/singer Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother found found shot to death in their Chicago home today:


The mother of Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson was reportedly found dead in a South Side home.

Two adults were found fatally shot at a home at 70th Street and Yale Avenue at 3 p.m. Friday, authorities said. Willie Davis, the pastor of the Hudson family’s church, Progressive Baptist, confirmed that 57-year-old Darnell Hudson Donnerson was one of the victims.

The other victim was a man, the Chicago Fire Department said.

Chicago police are now searching for a man and boy, believed to be driving on the North Side. The man is known as “William,” has braids in his hair, and is driving a 1994 Chevy, according to police scanner traffic. The 7-year-old, known as Julian, is wearing a tan jersey with the number 5 on it, and tan slacks.

The shooting is believed to be domestic.

The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office has been notified of the deaths of two people from a home at the address, but additional information is unavailable.

Jennifer Hudson became famous after appearing on “American Idol” in 2004. She went on to win an Oscar for her performance in the film “Dreamgirls.” (Source)

Beyonce Stalker Arrested

"Another stalker has been detained! A man who referred to himself as Beyonce’s lover was arrested in Connecticut yesterday. He was taken after driving recklessly and telling police he was on his way to a date with Beyonce.

Thirty-three year old Robert Williams Jr., from Michigan, was taken into custody in Milford on Sunday after almost smashing into a police car. Officers claim he stopped to ask police for directions to Detroit before driving off, narrowly missing the cop car and driving over a sidewalk.

Williams, who had flowers and a teddy bear in the car, is also alleged to have asked the cops if they were escorting him to New York City, where he claimed Beyonce had agreed to meet him at the George Washington Bridge". (Source)
